Who wouldn’t like to know more about the contemporary artist Pablo Picasso? Discover his life and history, how he started to create, his strong relationship and ties with Barcelona, in a guided tour based on his life and art in the city.
You’ll understand why Barcelona became so important for him: the cradle of his artistic style, where he began to create, learn design and paint, where he grew as a person and as an artist.  
We’ll walk around the streets of the Gothic Quarter to see where he lived and fashioned his famous pieces; we will visit places which inspired him, and where he began to reveal his painting style in the formative period of his artistic career at art galleries and locals such as Sala Parés, Els Quatre Gats…
And of course, we will visit  Barcelona’s Picasso’s Museum, where you have the chance to see his most interesting artworks, paintings, designs and drawings in first person. 
Though he moved to France in the latter years of life, his ties with Barcelona would never cease. Join us and discover how important the Catalan city was for him and what his legacy is.

Barcino: The Roman city

Through this guided tour you’ll discover the Roman Barcino, the 1st century city of Barcelona founded by the Romans.

The tour is starting at Plaça Villa de Madrid, where can be found the most interesting sepulchres of a Roman cemetery, dating back to the 4th Century.
