Lleó Morera House

Casa Lleó Morera
In 1905, the family Lleó Morera commissioned the architect Lluis Domenech i Montaner for a comprehensive reform of their home, located on Passeig de Gràcia since 1864.

The refurbishment of the old house was considered a total success, winning in 1906 the annual prize of artistic buildings awarded by the City Hall.

Lleó Morera House occupies the corner of the famous block of buildings named the "Block of Discord", where you can also find: Amatller House by Puig i Cadafalch, and Casa Batlló, designed by Antoni Gaudí.

The decoration of the facade is extraordinary, due to the joint efforts of many craftsmen who contributed with their creative talent...because of this and many other reasons this is a must if you come to visit the city.
