Buses of Barcelona

The extensive network of buses of Barcelona and the whole metropolitan area connects the city centre with the wohle city, especially highlights and monuments.

You can buy the ticket on the same bus, but keep in mind they do not sell cards for several trips, only single tickets, and drivers do not have change above 10 €.

Day Bus Schedules

Not every bus has the same schedule, but usually most of them circulate regularly from 5.30 to 23h on weekdays.

Weekends tend to take longer and usually service is ending one hour before, though it depends on the line.

We recommend that you check the schedule on the same bus stop, which will detail the step frequency of each line, and schedule updates.

Night Bus Schedules

There are also buses covering the night shedule, called Nit Bus.

It runs every 15-20 minutes from 5:00 am until 22:00 approx.

TMB iBus Service:

It is a free service that give you real-time forecasting of the next step of your bus on your phone. To use it you have to look out at the stop code (4 digits clearly visible) and send it via SMS to 7412 with the word Temps (space) and code.
